GLENELG WOMEN's program
Welcome to the Glenelg District Cricket Club Women's Program.
The Glenelg Women's Program exists to provide girls and women with the opportunity to enjoy cricket, develop their skills and reach their potential in a safe, supportive and professionally managed environment.
Every player joins our program with different goals. Some aspire to play Premier First Grade cricket or represent South Australia. Others simply want to enjoy the game, improve their skills and be part of a great club. Whatever your ambition, you are an important part of the Glenelg Women's Program.
We are committed to creating an environment where every player is supported, challenged and encouraged to become the best version of themselves—both on and off the field.
Welcome to the Yellow and Black.
History
The Glenelg District Cricket Club has a proud history of embracing growth, innovation and opportunity.
In March 2016, Glenelg formally introduced Women's Cricket, fielding a team in the SACA Women's Second Grade competition while simultaneously launching the Junior Girls Academy.
From the outset, the vision was simple:
Create an environment where players enjoy cricket, develop their skills and have genuine opportunities to reach their potential. What began as a single senior team has grown into one of South Australia's leading women's cricket programs.
Today, our Women's Program includes:
-
Women's First Grade Premier Cricket
-
Women's Second Grade Premier Cricket
-
Women's Third Grade Development Program
-
Under 15 Girls & Under 18 Girls competitions
-
Junior Girls Academy
-

The success of our program has been reflected through:
-
Club Championships
-
Premiership success
-

-

-
